Cardio

All Abilities X-Trainer: cross-training class, incorporating boxing, circuits and fun exercises designed to be enjoyed by adults of all abilities.

Aqua Energy: high-energy water workout. Upbeat music will keep you working hard whilst still protecting your joints with low-impact movements.

Aqua Lite: a basic water workout that is fun and caters for all abilities.

BodyAttack: sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. High-energy interval training combining athletic movements to take your fitness to the next level.

BodyCombat: kick and punch your way to a high-energy workout using boxing and martial art disciplines.

BodyStep: an athletic, fun, and simple workout utilising an adjustable step platform to great music.

Boxing: combines all facets of the high-intensity sport to bring you a workout that will improve your overall fitness and strength. You will learn basic boxing moves to get the most effective and efficient workout.

Circuit: easy to follow, high-intensity workout using various equipment to build overall fitness and strength.

Cycle: high-energy workout on a stationary bike. Lift your heart rate; strengthen your legs and burn maximum calories.

CycleHIIT: Smash your fitness goals fast with this HIIT workout, using an indoor bike. Work as hard as possible during the bursts of intensity followed by periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort.

RPM: jump on your cycle and tackle terrains such as hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training to challenge your fitness in a pre-choreographed workout.

SmasHIIT: high-intensity interval training to get you fitter, fast! Circuit based so you can work to your own personal best with the guidance of a trainer.

Walking Group: meet at the café and enjoy the fresh air. Will run in all weather conditions.

Zumba: mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.

Water Therapy: gentle water exercises in the 25 meter pool for people with MS, Motor Neuron Disease, Huntington’s disease, Cancer, Arthritis, Heart Disease, Asthma and chronic pain conditions.

Wellness

 

BodyBalance: combines yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi to improve strength and flexibility. Set to great music this will leave you feeling centered and calm.

Mums and Bubs Yoga: Yoga class that focuses on mindfulness, relaxation, connection and stress relief to be enjoyed by new mums with their babies. Download the pre-screening form here (PDF, 54KB)

Pilates: strengthen the muscles that align your body to improve posture and core stability.

Tai Chi: an ancient Chinese martial art that uses slow, smooth body movements to achieve a state of relaxation in both body and mind. Qigong form may be used in the warmups. 

Yoga: improve strength and flexibility with this mind and body workout. It incorporates postures and breathing plus meditation and relaxation.

Strength Classes

 

BodyPump: use weights to strengthen, condition & tone the whole body. You will also increase bone density and improve posture as well as burn fat.

Core 30: build a strong foundation, prevent injuries and improve posture using functional exercises in this intense 30 minute class.

GRIT-Strength: High-intensity interval training workout that takes you into overdrive to go hard, push harder and get you fitter, super fast.

Older Adults Group Fitness Classes

 

ActiveLink: chairs are used in this class that focuses on easy to follow gentle strength and balance exercises. People with chronic conditions will benefit from this class.

ActiveLink Hydro: gentle water exercises in a supportive warm water environment suitable for those coming back from injury, or with chronic conditions.

ActiveLink Aqua: gentle water exercises held in the 25 meter pool, suitable for those looking for a gentle form of exercise to increase mobility and function.

Aqua: water exercises in the 25m pool designed to improve muscular strength, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility in an environment that has minimal impact on the joints.

AquaHydro: water exercises conducted in the hydro pool, to improve mobility, strength and function

Cardio4Life: easy to follow aerobic routines to great music to improve heart health as well as coordination and brain function.

Landmarc: a variety of exercises designed to improve heart health, whilst improving strength and flexibility.

Pilates Gold: strong emphasis on correct posture and flexibility, whilst strengthening your core. Ability to move on and off the floor is needed for this class.

Stretch4Life: improve mobility through the joints and flexibility of muscles. Ability to move on and off the floor is needed for this class.

Strong4Life: improve functionality for everyday activities by increasing fitness, bone density, strength, balance, coordination and flexibility.

X-Training Gold: including aerobics, step and weight training suitable for anyone looking for a great low impact workout.

Yoga Gold: improve strength and flexibility with this mind and body workout both in and out of a chair. It incorporates postures and breathing plus meditation and relaxation.

Zumba Gold: a fun dance workout that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination

Active Youth Group Fitness Classes

 

Active Abilities: This class welcomes children with disabilities. Focus is on fitness, strength, building confidence, making friends and having fun. (ages 6+)

Teen Fit: gym and body weight exercises which increase fitness, strength and cardio. (ages 12+)

*Active Youth classes can be accessed on a casual basis and run only during School Terms. No Active Youth classes run during school holidays.
