Pride Night 2021

In a first for City of Monash, Active Monash will be hosting its first ever Pride Night to promote inclusive and accessible physical activity for the LGBTIQA+ community and their allies.

In a move that aligns to the City of Monash’s commitment to LGBTIQA+ community and its Health and Wellbeing plan, the night will see Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre open its doors to all to celebrate PRIDE! Everyone is invited come into the centre and experience our facilities in a friendly and inclusive environment. 

During the COVID-19 shutdown, many Active Monash staff completed LGBTIQA+ training. This has ensured that staff have the awareness to support and grow the ongoing use of Active Monash facilities by the LGBTIQA+ community.

Activities include:

• Live DJ
• Aqua class
• Zumba class
• Yoga class
• Learn to float class
• Lap Club
• Inflatable pool obstacle course
• Gym
• Access to indoor pools
• Spa and sauna
• and MORE!! 

The night will run from 6pm on April 10, 2021 and finishing at 10pm.

Entry to Pride Night will be FREE
